The one at Wiens

The moment you all have been waiting for.....we have a date and venue set! Our Wedding will be April 17, 2010 at Wiens Winery in Temecula. Our colors will be black and white with sage green and silver. Today we went with Sarah's parents to check out Wiens. We have known we wanted to get married at a winery for a while, since we are members at this one, it was a natural choice. We love their set up and what they have to offer. After meeting with our coordinator, Jaime, we went in to taste their wine. After Sarah's parents left, we tasted some wine and talked with Dave and Jeff Wien. After informing Jeff that we had set a date at his venue, we found out that it is actually the date of his birthday! He felt that was a very important day...as do we. Jeff told us that we could bottle wine in the barrel room. So we went to check it out. We ended up bottling two bottles of the "7 Brothers blend." We got to cork it and put a label on it. Then we had Dave and Jeff Wien sign it. Although this wine will not keep seeing as it is straight from the barrel, we will enjoy it then save the bottle. All in all it was a great day...we are relieved to have a date set.
